About us
AustralianPeptides.net was founded by researchers who were frustrated with inconsistent quality and support in the peptide supply chain. We built the platform we wished existed.
Frequently asked questions
Ordering, payment, shipping, storage and returns — answered. Still stuck? Contact support.
All products are supplied strictly for in-vitro laboratory research and forensic use by qualified professionals. They are not for human or veterinary consumption, and are not a drug, food, cosmetic or therapeutic good.
No card payment is taken online. After you place an order we email payment instructions for PayID, bank transfer or crypto. Your order is confirmed and dispatched once payment has been received and cleared.
Every order is sent by Express Post as standard — there's no slower option to pick. Orders are dispatched from within Australia, generally within one business day of confirmed payment, and typically arrive in 2–5 business days depending on your state. Shipping is a $15 flat rate, and free for orders of $300 or more. All packaging is discreet and unbranded on the outside.
Storage requirements are listed on each product page. As a general guide, lyophilized (freeze-dried) peptides are best kept desiccated at −20°C and protected from light before reconstitution.
Faulty, damaged or incorrect items can be returned within 7 days for a replacement or refund, in line with the Australian Consumer Law. Because these are temperature-sensitive research materials, we can't accept change-of-mind returns once an order has been dispatched. See our Refunds & returns section for full detail.
We dispatch Australia-wide from local stock. If you have a question about delivery to your location, contact support.
Quality & compliance
What "third-party tested" actually means here, how batches are traced, and what to expect from storage to dispatch.
Australian Peptides supplies research peptides and biomedical compounds to laboratories, universities and qualified researchers across Australia. Every product on this site is sold strictly for laboratory research use — not for human or veterinary consumption, and not as a drug, food or cosmetic.
Independent testing
Every production batch is sent to an accredited third-party Australian laboratory for HPLC purity and identity testing before it is released for sale.
Batch traceability
Each vial is printed with a lot code that maps to its production batch, keeping every unit traceable to its source.
Controlled storage
Stock is held desiccated at −20°C ahead of dispatch and packed with cold-chain materials appropriate to each compound's stability profile.
Shipping & handling
Orders placed before 2pm AEST on a business day are dispatched the same day from our Australian facility. Every order ships by Express Post as standard — no upgrade needed — typically arriving in 2–5 business days depending on your state.
All packaging is discreet and unbranded on the outside. Temperature-sensitive compounds are shipped with appropriate insulation and cold packs during warmer months.
Research use only
Products sold by Australian Peptides are intended exclusively for laboratory research and forensic use by qualified professionals. They are not for personal use, human or animal consumption, or clinical application of any kind. By placing an order you confirm you are purchasing on behalf of a laboratory, research institution, or as a qualified researcher, and that you accept full responsibility for compliant use, handling and storage.
Refunds & returns
How faulty, damaged or incorrect orders are handled — and your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
This policy applies to all orders placed through australianpeptides.net. It sits alongside — and does not limit — your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
Your rights under Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If a product is faulty, not as described, or does not match its stated specification, you are entitled to a replacement or refund. Nothing in this policy removes or limits those consumer guarantees.
Faulty, damaged or incorrect items
If your order arrives damaged, is missing items, or is not the product you ordered, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at support@australianpeptides.net with:
- your order reference (e.g. AP-1001);
- a description of the issue; and
- clear photos of the product, label and packaging where relevant.
Once we've confirmed the issue we will arrange a replacement or a full refund, including any return postage where a return is required. We may ask you to return the affected item before a replacement is dispatched.
Change of mind
Because our products are temperature-sensitive research materials whose integrity and sterility cannot be verified once they have left our facility, we are generally unable to accept returns or offer refunds for change of mind on items that have been dispatched. Please review your order carefully before placing it. If you notice a mistake, contact us immediately — if your order has not yet been dispatched we can usually amend or cancel it.
Orders awaiting payment
Orders are only dispatched after payment is received and confirmed. If you place an order but decide not to proceed before paying, no charge applies and the order simply lapses.
Non-delivery or lost parcels
If your order has not arrived within the expected delivery window, contact us with your order reference and we will investigate with the carrier and, where appropriate, resend or refund your order.
How refunds are issued
Approved refunds are returned via the same method used to pay for the order (PayID, bank transfer, crypto, or the original payment channel). Refunds are typically processed within 5 business days of approval; the time for funds to appear depends on your bank or payment provider.
Contact us
For any refund or return request, email support@australianpeptides.net and we'll reply within one business day.

Legal
Assumption of risk, product information, limitation of liability, indemnity and your consumer rights.
Assumption of risk. All products are supplied for in-vitro laboratory research use only and are purchased, handled and used entirely at your own risk. By ordering, you confirm that you understand the nature of these compounds, that you are qualified to handle them, and that you accept full and sole responsibility for their storage, handling, use, disposal and any consequences arising from them.
Product information. Product specifications and other information on this website are provided in good faith for research reference. They are general information only and are not medical, veterinary or clinical advice about using these compounds in humans or animals — you remain responsible for your own qualified assessment for your research. We're glad to help with questions about our products, their handling, storage and reconstitution — just contact our support team. Nothing in this clause limits the consumer guarantees, warranties, returns or remedies described in our Refunds & returns section.
Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, AustralianPeptides.net and its owners, directors, officers, employees, contractors, suppliers, partners, service providers and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, exemplary or consequential loss or damage — including any death, personal injury, illness, property damage, economic loss, or loss of profits, data or goodwill — arising from or in connection with website use, product purchase, product use, product handling, product misuse, shipping issues, order delays, data loss, account access, or any inability to use the website or products, whether the claim is based in contract, tort (including negligence), statute or otherwise, and whether or not we were advised of the possibility of such loss or damage.
Indemnity. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AustralianPeptides.net and the persons listed above from and against all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, costs and expenses (including legal costs on a full-indemnity basis) arising from your breach of these terms, your use, handling or misuse of any product, or any use of a product other than legitimate in-vitro laboratory research.
Your consumer rights. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where our liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, our liability is limited, at our option, to resupplying the goods or paying the cost of resupply, or to refunding the price you paid.
Privacy policy
What we collect, how we use and store it, and your rights under the Privacy Act.
Australian Peptides respects your privacy and handles personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This policy explains what we collect and why.
Information we collect
We collect only the information needed to process and deliver your order and to respond to your enquiries:
- Contact and delivery details — your name, email address, phone number and shipping address, provided at checkout;
- Order information — the products, quantities, prices and any notes you submit;
- Enquiry details — the information you send us via the support form or by email.
We do not collect or store payment card details. Payments are made manually (for example by PayID or bank transfer) outside our website, so card and bank data never passes through our systems.
How we use your information
We use your information to confirm and dispatch your order, send order and shipping updates by email, provide customer support, and meet our legal and record-keeping obligations. We do not use your details for unrelated marketing without your consent.
How your information is stored
Order and enquiry data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore), hosted in Google Cloud's Sydney (australia-southeast1) region. Transactional emails are sent through our email provider. Access is restricted to authorised personnel.
Disclosure to third parties
We never sell your personal information. We share it only where necessary to fulfil your order or run our service — for example with delivery carriers, our email provider, and our hosting/payment infrastructure providers — and only to the extent required. Some of these providers may store data on secure servers, which we take reasonable steps to ensure handle information consistently with the APPs.
Cookies and site data
Our website uses your browser's local storage to remember your cart contents and light/dark theme preference. These are functional only and are not used to track you across other websites. We may use standard, aggregated analytics to understand how the site is used and improve it.
Your rights
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing support@australianpeptides.net. We will respond within a reasonable time. If you have a privacy concern, you can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
Data retention
We keep order records for as long as needed to fulfil orders, provide support, and comply with our legal and tax obligations, after which they are securely deleted or de-identified.
